The Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers (CRC), www.crcordeliers.fr is a multidisciplinary world class institution in the historical centre of Paris dedicated to oncology, immunology, bioinformatics and physiopathology.

The CRC includes over 500 researchers, physicians, administrative and technical staff, committed to basic, translational and clinical research. It is organized into three scientific departments “Metabolism and physiopathology”, “Immunology and cancer” and “Genome and Cancer”, 16 scientific teams and 4 technological core facilities. CRC and its members are affiliated to Sorbonne Université, Université de Paris (the largest French medical school), the French National Institute for Medical Research (INSERM) and the network of 39 university hospitals of the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP).

Context

The CRC is recruiting junior and senior group leaders willing to develop research projects in basic or translational research in the fields of oncology, immunology or bioinformatics and other connected fields (mathematics, machine learning, statistics, new concepts in big data analysis, cancer metabolism, physiopathology, chronic inflammation, epigenomics…).

The selection of the candidates will be based on the outstanding quality of their scientific record and project, as well as their ability to interface with biologists and physicians of Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers and beyond.

The newly recruited research groups will benefit from state-of-the-art research equipment, appropriate laboratory and office space, and access to all core facilities (cytometry, classical and spatial imaging, metabolism, bioinformatics, digital PCR, animal facility, biobank, etc..).

The successful candidates should meet the criteria required to compete for national and international funding, and for French institutional researcher positions (University or INSERM) and will be supported for their application.
