Summary: Argobio is a start-up studio based in Paris and launched in March 2021 with 50 M€ funding with the goal of launching 5 ambitious biotech companies in 5 years based on promising research projects. We seek to identify excellent translational research and collaborate with academic teams funding them up to 5 M€ over 2-3 years until company creation and series-A fundraising. Argobio focuses on several therapeutic areas, including immuno-oncology, neurologic disorders, and rare diseases.

About Argobio Studio: Argobio Studio was founded by Kurma Partners, a Parisian venture capital firm focusing on rare diseases with a track records in company creation and Bpifrance, the French governmental bank supporting and funding entrepreneurs. They were joined by the Pasteur Institute, Angelini Pharma and Evotec which provide their scientific and industrial expertise as well as their network. Additionally, experienced entrepreneurs in residence – with great track record of building and exiting biotech companies – help guide the translation of excellent science into biotech ventures. Finally, Argobio Studio and its partners can participate dozens of million euros in the series-A funding as research projects mature into successful companies.
