Berkeley Lights built its reputation by empowering the industry with tools to find the best cells. With the Beacon® platform we have disrupted Cell Line Development and Antibody Discovery saving time and increasing quality of these processes. Today I will present you the Lightning™ optofluidic platform launched January 2020 in Europe, it is a smaller and semi-automated version of the Beacon. It is a microfluidic, single-cell imaging platform + a culture station + a single cell colony picking instrumentation (all at once) that allows our customers to directly link T cell function to sequence data at the single cell level. Join me and discover how to: • Set up 1000s of individual, discrete cell-cell interactions • Visualize interactions using fluorescence-based time lapse imaging • Measure cell behavior and assay for surface markers and secreted cytokines • Recover individual clones alive for further analysis or sequencing We built the Lightning platform with the intention to empower cell biologist with a precious insight on the biology of their cells (adherent and non-adherent). In this presentation I will particularly insist on T-Cell functional analytics.
